    dilakhshan ketheesparan

My name is Dilakhshan Ketheesparan, a third year Health Science student specializing in the Exercise Science stream of Kinesiology. As a UOIT student, I have had privileges working with many students and staff, as well as getting involved and being a VP on the Health Science Society. I am a part of an intramural soccer team, and a note taker for most classes. As a nominee, it would be a pleasure being part of the academic council to bring positive energy, increasing confidence levels and easiness for students and further promote academic excellence for the knowledgeable students here at UOIT.

I am passionate, dedicated, and most of all I want to be your voice and be of help to any and every single one of you. I believe in equity and teamwork so your concerns and opinions will always be my first priority. Vote Osama and have your voice heard during the decision-making processes of the university.

    chelsea jones

Hi UOIT! I’m Chelsea, and I’m running to be your student representative on the Admissions & Scholarship Committee! I participated in a similar committee at uOttawa, and hold multiple leadership positions that require impartial decision-making skills, including assistant manager at my workplace and the president of UOIT’s HOSA team. I’m also very involved with campus clubs and societies, putting me in a position to connect with different types of students and exposing myself to new perspectives to consider when making decisions that will effect students. I believe my experiences would be a great asset to my role on this committee!
